Hey, this site seems awesome because everytime i google about iracing or nr2003 this is the first place i see. and i always find what i'm looking for.
anyways, im a sophmore at Kentucky for a mechanical engineering degree. Beginning in Decemeber I'll be a member of iRacing. Anybody have any thoughts or tips? I loved racing NR2003 and in Jan 2010 iRacing with its update looks like it'll be the new sim racing king.

Welcome to SRD dude. iracing is awesome so long as you can afford it. You can't paint your own cars and have your own number the same as in NR2003 however.

yeah, but i have heard that starting next year their paintshop will be less limited and numbers will remain to be handed out each race, but im sure once leagues are implemented we can choose our number for those. either way i think iRacing will be the best, and the best is yet to come..
