i'm curious what some people have come up with for a homemade simulator. i'm going to make one this summer. i think its going to be half a roll cage made out of PVC. i'll probably put sand in it to give it some weight. i've got it all planned in my head i just need to get it out and in to motion. so what your setup look like?

Well its not much, but I'm planning to put my playseat on a board with with casters so I can move it aside when I'm not racing. I will paint the board black and coat it with polyurethane. I also want to elevate it somehow because it is so low to the ground.

This is what I mean by playseat.

I was planning on just having a chair and making a wheel frame out of something for my wingman controller and turn the sensitivity on since I'm not sure my dad would buy me another wheel since it can only be used for racing games.
