Homestead Question

I noticed in last nights truck race that when they were entering pit road that they were doing it off turn 4. I thought you had to use the access road. Was this changed?

NASCAR changed the rule for pit road entry. Now, instead of using the access road through turns 3 and 4; drivers are allowed to come straight to pit road.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but i think you still have to use the access road to exit.

Dang, I wish they still used the access road entry, it made Homestead feel more unique.

It seems to be a game day decision, so to speak, for the Cup series. Don't be surprised if you see the Cup drivers using it because they were told to in the drivers' meeting.

Larry Mac explained it during practice. NASCAR is trying to make it like all the other tracks with entering off of 4. Thanks guys
