I like to run TPTCC but like the cockpit view of a couple other mods.
How can I use a different mod's cockpit view in TPTCC?

You've misunderstood me.

I want to use the cockpit from a different mod while playing the TPTCC mod.
I don't like the cockpit view in TPTXX I've like the ones in other mods like the PTA and Late Model mods
I want to transfer the cockpit from another mod into the TPTCC mod

How do I transfer the cockpit from one mod to another ?

From my understanding, you'll have to edit the the actual 3d model of the car in order to transfer from one mod to each other. You'll also need to include all of the corresponding texture files that go along with it.

Again, that's from my understanding. And it's easier said than done, just to forewarn you.

I dont know if you could just move the .mip files in, but even then you would have to use a mod that has the same gauge placement. What interior do you want and what about it do you really want to use?

You can't. The cockpit is part of the overall car model, so to do what you want you would have to rebuild the entire mod from scratch.

Thanks guys, I just want more visibility.
For starters I'd like to remove the roll bar across the left side of the window.
Then widen and increase height as well as lower visibility of the window as much as possible

In short the window is just too small especially with the roll bar in the way.

Is there a guide to do just this?
Or any easy way to do it?

The post above yours is the answer. It cant be done without remodling it.
