How do you paint a car for nr2003?

I am new to nr2003 and sorry i ask u guys sooo many questions, but how do you paint cot cars for nr2003? I want to make my own cars.

I use photoshop, but others use GIMP or paintshop pro.

you download templates from here or some other site and then start drawing. the templates are pretty self explanatory and its trial and error. i've learned a lot in the few weeks i've been painting.

yea i tried downloading it, but when i open it in gimp, there is only a cover page type thing. any suggestions?

Ok, so what mod is the template for and how are you importing it? There are 2 different ways to import paint jobs

If you're trying to import a car into the game such as a COT through the in-game paint shop, it won't work. To import cars into NR2003 such as those for the ss.net COT mod, you must have the 1.2.0.1 patch installed as well as the mod itself. You have to use NR2003's Opponent Manager to import COT cars into the game. The in-game paint shop is for painting the cars that come with the game.

Painting car can not be done in a rush some template can take heap of time to line some of the car that I just complete took up 16 hours to complete,

When I was first given the two template to play with,"quote if you can paint on these then you be able to paint on any thingend of quote"
