How to get replays?

Ive seen like replays on Youtube and was wondering how u do that. I have a replay saved in my replays but when i click it says windows cannot open this file? Why is that? I want to an offline league and post races!

The replay files in the game are not video files. You have to capture the video in the game using a video capture program. FRAPS is the most popular and easiest to uses and you can download the free version. But the free version you can only record 30 seconds per video file.
