how to open a cup series .dat

i think this .dat archive had the models of the mod but i don't know exactly what is the program to open it? somebody know?

Two things:

1)You can open all of NR2003's .DAT files using WinMip2.

2) For all purposes, the models in the .dats are next to useless outside of their intended use. You wouldn't be able to properly create a mod based off of them.
