I have downloaded the patch, how do I install it?

Sorry for the stupid question. I see the sticky's above. I just installed NR2003 onto my windows 8.1 64 bit PC and it keeps crashing. I can't get back to the initial setup either where I pick display, graphics card, etc.

I can download the patch, but how do I install it into the game?

So I got the game to quit crashing...how do I install that patch into the game so I can download other car mods, the truck mods, etc? I know how to download the mod, just how to I install it into the game?

Just run the executable file you downloaded. It should find your NR2003 installation and begin installing the patch.

Weird...it's not downloading as an executable file. I'm clicking the link in the sticky above.

Okay...I finally got it extracted via a free zip program, but I can't get the .exe file to run.

Ugh. I ended up having to download it on another computer (windows 7) and then put the .exe file on a flash drive and then do it that way. Finally got it. Now to find some cool Gen 6 mods, etc and go to town!
