Hey guys...

I know I ain't at y'all's level...but I'd really like some hints to make my cars better....These are two of my designs for the SS.net COT....The template is by Lurn2Burn, cont's are by SRD (and I'm having trouble lining up the fender cont's), The render is by TBSlider (thanks again), Logos are Googled, except for the Geoffrey and family, which I had to re-do from scratch, since Toys R Us no longer uses that style Geoffrey (but I like it anyways), and had to base it off an old photo of my #86 car from last year (with some help from past pictures of Geoffrey on Google). Anyways..any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In case anyone is wondering, I'm doing all this off the windows paint program, and transferring it to Adobe Photoshop 7 to the template.

:err:

Looks pretty good- Why don't you use Photoshop for the whole design process? The only thing you might want to check on is lining up the base at the rear of the car. I'd suggest using the SS.net Carviewer to help you design the paint schemes. Good work!

I need to either take a class or do some on-line tutorials in photoshop...I suck pretty badly at it. As for carviewer..thanks for the suggestion...for all the suggestions....I didn't know there was a carviewer out there for SS.net, but will download it. Thanks again!

I would just get your hands dirty and start painting cars in photoshop. Thats the best way. Then look at tuts. Thats what I would do. Those are good cars too. And carviewer is a must. Every detail counts....the little things is what makes a good car.

I agree, just dive in and get your hands dirty, That's what I did, don't be afraid to try something . And going back and forth between Carviewer and Photoshop is a must, you'd be surprised what you catch by doing that.
