I'm going to set a download record

So, a week or two ago I re-downloaded all of Jason's cars for my fresh reinstall of NR2003 - now my hard drive crashed, to the point of not being recoverable. :arghh: So I've got to re-download all of Jason's COT's, the high-res skies, etc. Basically I'm making this post to explain that when you see "Downloads: 5679" or some other ridiculous number under my user name I'm really not trying to steal of SRD's bandwidth....

Oh, and by the way...thanks Jason and Walz for some seriously awesome cars!

Yeah I bet between all NR2003 sites I've got you beat though, had to buy an external hard drive just for my mods and cars and all the other misc stuff I have. Something like 10GB of files. :LOL:

But yeah I second that, guys like Jason keep this game relevant and for that we all owe them a huge debt of thanks.

i have you beat by a long shot, i have around 32GB of nr2003 stuff, some of it is duplicated and extracted but with out that i would still have 20GB alone......... i have a 300GB external hdd and 640gb hard drive in my new computer...... lol....... lots of room for mods and downloads, i play to continue downloading nr2003 stuff until they stop, i have downloads from when tucknut had his DOT cars up for download lol so i have a good 7 years of mods and tracks and cars and bases and decals and so on...................

This is the most anticipated car for me for ages, can't wait man, I may have to dodge work just so I can run an offline race at Darlington on Monday :LOL: (42 million Darlington stripes optional:lol

Wow, you guys are some serious car collectors! I made it to 230 downloads - not as crazy as I thought. Everything is reinstalled and running awesome now, I couldn't be happier! Thanks again Jason and Walz!

And I can't wait to see that Indiana Jones car, either. Rowdy has run some pretty sweet paint schemes this year.

Difficult to locate a good one dude, he had most of the right side scraped up from the start of the race, but here's everything I could get my hands on, plus a pic of me as an M&M :twitcy:

I appreciate the help buddy, I have the Red M&M for that side but I can't remember if there was another one...I just can't remember...this is all I need to do besides the pit crew to finish this ride.

LOL. I know what you mean; I’m the kind of NR2003 collector that will download one of EVERYTHING on pretty much EVERY NR2003 site. LOL. It’s kind of embarrassing when my download number is so high. LOL.

WOW! I download pretty much every track for all the mods, but I only keep the ones I really like. And as for cars I download them for every mod, but I only download the realistic cars (no fictionals). And let’s see… right now I have around 16 gigs of stuff spread over 4 DVD-Rs. LOL.

My favorite stuff is easily all the Jeff Gordon cars I collected from the (old) TRG, TFR, SCG, SBR and some other places. I got almost pretty much every special paint scheme car Jeff Gordon drove from 2004 until present (missing some of his 2006 rides, that was a bad year for NR2003 car collecting). LOL.

i love Jasons rides...

Yah, I like his rides because they are small in memory size, but still look good. LOL. So I always end up using his rides in the actual race.

I bet no sponsor in the history of NR2003 have given painters more grief than the M&M sponsorship. LOL. Plus, I think it’s worst when the M&M car actually wins, because then you almost feel compelled to try and paint it. LOL.

I have a feeling poor Kyle Busch is going make a lot of NR2003 painters cry if he keeps winning with specialty paint schemes. LOL.
