Improving Scene Quality

I'm looking to figure out how to improve my scene quality in terms of model and texture quality. This is as far as I can get with a default SNG scene with an adjusted camera, floor, and added sampling during renders using Scanline. However, the scene just feels... flat. It's like looking at a 3ds Max screengrab of a decent render. What's the next step to get more realistic, high quality renders?

Thanks!

First of all what version of max are you using.
And for starters you will need to fix the Field of View it's all out of whack that's why the front of the car appears squashed flat and the rear is to large.
