Hey guys, I'm hoping I can find some help here. I'm doing a t-shirt design for a Fire Department and they showed me a small logo as a reference of what they want on the logo. However, for the life of me I cannot find any vector elements or Photoshop brushes or anything that looks like that. I could always recreate it but I'm trying to save the guys some money and not spend too much time. If anyone has or knows of anything like it or at least where to find it that'd be sweet.

If it is the graphics beside the logo you want, you could always 'magic wand' tool it in Photoshop.

You could try brusheezy.com if you're looking for a brush to do the work...but the cleanest way would definitely be a vector drawing of the whole thing.

Yeah a brush might work, but I'd prefer to keep everything vector in case they ever need it to be blown up.

I'd use iStock but, like I said, I'm trying to keep it cheap for them. It's for a bike club of fire fighters so they're paying out of pocket. I have the capability to recreate it but if I could find it pre-made it would save time/money.

I found some floral shapes that I think will work well. I'll keep this open though to show what I come up with.

The only thing I can offer up is how it used to be done. When I did the restoration gold leaf on a 1923 American LaFrance Fire Engine I had to research it some. Essentially it's 23k gold leaf, white & black pinstriping and the shading is done by mixing different shades of artist's oil colors in clear so you can 'tint' the gold leaf. You'll notice that a fair number of the parts overlap? I don't really think that a PS brush would work all that well. Your best bet, should you really want to make it 'any' size is vector but it may be hard to pull off in Illustrator because you'd be trying to fill unclosed paths. You might want to look into drawing one side of it (one side is just a mirror image of the other) as big as you think you might ever need it in PS (I'm thinking a couple of feet wide would do the trick).

And oh yeah...the band around the '34' is engine-turned gold leaf (in case you weren't aware). You might try getting a hold of Steve Farone for some tips (I believe he's doing paint work for Arlen Ness these days). He might have had to do some on a scooter at one time or another. And he's kinda in your backyard.
