Increase oil/water max temp?

I was wondering if it was possible to increase the water and oil temp, so instead of 230 degrees being the spot where the light will come on and continued running above that will result in engine failure etc, 250 degrees would be that new spot.

I'm not positive but that seems like something that is more then likely hardcoded in the EXE.

you could just repaint the gauges so it read 250

dose it really matter what a gauge reads ? as the ai cars would still run the temps they run at and plus you are the only person that can see it

I just wanted to use as much grill tape as possible without overheating.

why ? just play with gearing and you will go much faster than adding tape

yeah! using tape u can have something like that!!! but i guess we can't see a smoke like that... but gaugues i'll blink like that...
