it now lags after patch is installed on vista.

ok installed the patch, the patch fix, and the new cup damage on my vista (64 bit) laptop. and now when i play the game it lags very badly in the menu's and race.
before the patch was installed the game was running perfectly.

i also installed the same thing on my xp laptop and it works perfectly there but not on my vista.

so why is it lagging now?

Just give up on windows vista

To run windows vista correctly your laptop should of be three time price of a 32 bit laptop, did you get a bottle of anti frezzer with your laptop

Well it has 4 gig of ram. And by the way I figured out how to get it to run by using the instructions in the topic below this.

It does not matter what you do to your computer everything that was not write to run on a 64 bit system will lag

I am running the COT Mod on Vista 64 with no problems. Great Graphics and good framerates. Did you set the compatibility mode to run on Windows XP SP2? If you didn't, right click on your exe file and select properties. Under compatibility mode select Windows XP SP2.
