17 years ago, I convinced my parents to buy me a NASCAR video game. I didn't know at the time how it would lead me to learn things like Photoshop, 3D modeling, and how to build a website. Over time, I applied my skills to hundreds of real and fictional race cars, two mods, and a website dedicated to the sim painter.

While it's been fun to contribute everything I have to the sim racing community, my SimDesigners project and involvement with the community will have an expiration date.

SimDesigners will be closing on June 30th, 2013. I'll personally be stepping away from the community at the same time.

I want to thank the entire sim community for the memories, support and friendship I've gathered along the way. It's been a fun ride.

Thanks for your contributions to the NR2003 community over the years. It sucks that you're stepping away, but real life takes priority over any computer game.

Nascar sim painting has come a long way as a hobby, and you deserve a lot of the credit for that. Your contributions to the community have been invaluable! From the sim cot mod, to building the tutorials you released on how the sim cot mod got built, all the way to painting on a 3d model in photoshop.
