I think I'm gonna re-arrange everything. But here is the gist. Am I missing anything?

You can add air hoses and electrical outlets hanging from the ceiling.

Looks great though

I bet UV mapping all that is going to be fun  That's really why I never attempted to learn actual modeling for myself. I attempted to learn the wrong things at the wrong time and now what I do know is scrambled.

You're one tough camper for doing this, I gotta say.

Also, maybe a few floor jacks and jack stands. I'm not too sure but I've never seen a hydraulic lift used for Nascar. And maybe an engine hoist or two.

Textures for the building are done. Just need tweaking. After this, redistribute the equipment and download more. Then set camera positions.

If I had studio max set up again I'd be all about this scene man! It's coming along really well.

Got all the textures done and got all the lighting done. I THINK we are ready to move in the small details like electrical, fans, mats, and wall units. After that, big stuff. After that, small details. Can do it all tomorrow, MAYBE. Let me know if I missed something.

Til then, enjoy.

Looks great. With how long & narrow it is it reminds me of the area that some teams have where they can pull their haulers in to do work & load up.

For sure. But the bay doors are only like 10 feet tall? I know the second story is 12 feet up. But I don't know if that's the bottom or the top of that thick floor you see. It's 1 foot thick. So the garage doors are either 12 or 11 feet tall. Either way, not large enough for a truck, or that would be cool!

Okay, I need some help. I need pics of track garages. I need to know what they keep around and make sure I have all the equipment. I need to know where things are placed and so forth. Thanks!

Blah. The models suck and so do their textures. The concreted floor is to blurred and needs to be adjusted. The contact shadow where the tires meet the ground is non-exsistant. The room looks to clean and for all that is holy, I can't get Mental Ray to give me a decent F'n render.

Here is the picture before I take all the objects out and start over again. Maybe a week of hand making everything will make it all better. I made all the textures and the building, but the snap-on crap is from sketch-up. I also wish I could use v-ray and just hdri and day-light system this scene for a better render. FML.

I have not forgot. I need to redo ALL the materials. The render time was so high and it was because of my lacking skill in material rendering. This will be done properly and with render time in mind. Mind you, I can't get it to 5 minutes for a 2 car render, but it will be better then the 45 minute time I had before. Give me a few days please. Then I will place the objects and so forth. Thanks for your patience.
