Nice lookin' rig Dave! I must admit I have to agree on the numbers they just get sucked up by the paint scheme!

Ya white #'s would help it more. Orange with a white outline might help as well, would help with not making the #'s take too much away from the scheme and overpowering it.

Yeah, the numbers are hard to see with all that black and orange. Other than that, it looks awesome!
