Jamie Little to Fox is to replace Krista Voda, who moves to NBC

And the whole story has now come out. We were wondering why Fox hired Little, it was a seemingly random move that made no sense at the time. Well apparently it was to replace Krista Voda who moves to NBC next year, but not as a pit reporter, as the host of their studio coverage. NBC officials basically point to the fact that she has hosted the pre-race for Fox's truck coverage as their basis for hiring her. It's not clear if Jamie Little will only take her pit reporter duties or if she will take her Truck pre-race duties too.

NBC Sports Group announced that Krista Voda has signed a multi-year agreement to serve as host of NBC Sports' upcoming NASCAR Sprint Cup and XFINITY Series pre- and post-race coverage, beginning in 2015. Her on-air duties will also include regular appearances as host of NASCAR AMERICA on NBCSN, as well as a range of assignments across NBC Sports and NBC Olympics.

I absolutely loved how she picked at her fingernails while talking about the race on Sunday.

Sure, she's pretty, but not my first pick by any standard. I want insightful commentary and analysis. Not T&A. There are other channels for that.
