    from the iRacing forum...

It's a little later than I expected, but the latest version has finally been completed. Important things came up that prevented me from working on it recently. Things like Dragon Age, Modern Warfare II, Pro Series practices, my memoirs, you know, things like that. Or in other words, laziness.

Up until now, the pack has been consumed with recycled NR03 stuff. That's not necessarily a bad thing, since I hear that project turned out halfway decent. The tides are beginning to change, however. This is probably the first version where I really wanted to make a point to inject some new material. It's not totally revamped, but the new stuff is noticeable, and I'm not done by any means. I'm sure I'll want to tweak some things, and I still have a little list of stuff that I want to replace, which I will get to before the next iRacing build.

I don't like spamming the forums with little updates to it, so check out the site from time to time for that.

    Enjoy.

Did a race earlier with this installed and I'd suggest it to any of you.

Does this say, "New leader, 48" if you take the lead?

yes... they are the .wav files. As for it working for 2003, I don't know as I've given up on 2003.

As for the mip files in the series folders for cars graphic updates (wheels, dashes, etc.), the wav files have to be the exact same name as the default ones in the sound.dat... The alt sound packs for Nr2003 are just that... So pull up your sleeves, and match the wav files between the I-Racing and the NR2003 packs....and good luck... feasable though...

    Wow... 2 nd post !
