I've been thinking lately about the two-car-tandem that has become commonplace in NASCAR at Daytona and Talladega. It has been well documented that this isn't really possible with the bots in single-player, but I think it may be possible to pull this off in online matches. The key: the guy in front has to ride the brake just enough to keep from accellerating away from the guy pushing him. Since I haven't yet participated in an online race (I only recently got a fast enough internet connection to try it), and I have currently have no friends who play this game, I can't verify if this will work, but I thought I'd just toss it out there.

People have already figured out how to do it online. Offline is a different story though...

1. the default ini wont allow you to stay on someones bumper all the way through a corner without turning him or getting him sideways, you can change some things in it to allow that and other things to work as well. 2. the cars dont have a realistic power band to spool up to be able to push harder when locked onto someones bumper.

I've run about half a million Super Speedway races in my time and I've never seen this. The only thing close I've ever seen is guys who have much better sets in unplated CUP or GNS physics pulling away from a bigger pack.

If this were really possible in this game it would have been found long before it was ever seen on a track.
