Just alittle help from my friends at Sim Racing Design

Ive got a budjet of 500 dollars to get a laptop. I need it for work but I can also install NR2003. I was looking at this one.(Specs Below) I just need really to run the basic game at medium to high detail. Let me know if you think I can get decent frames.

Sorry im not good with specs. This is the information I could gather.........................ps note that i have to also use this for work.

The 4250 is not exactly a high end graphics card. You should be able to get some solid frame rates on the original tracks and mods, but with custom mods and tracks, the rates might dip. Can you race with it? Yes. Will it look great? Ehh... ok, maybe good at times, but rarely great.

Lets see what others say.

Thanks that is all I need is the basic game. Right now on my computer I dont run reflections and all track objects just to save fps. So if I can run just that it will be ok.

I have the same exact spec's in my laptop other than the fact that mine has the Turion II processor (stronger than Athlon). Here's what my graphics look like (slight Photoshopping in this picture but nothing extreme):

I run everything on/on high except some of the reflections (just the "Off Buildings" are off I believe) and i've yet to have any frames issues.
