Why would you fire a guy that is a proven winner and can make the chase? Not to mention, a former champion.

I find it funny how Kyle can get away with his horrible offenses, but Kurt does ONE bad thing this season, and he is gone. Maybe he should join his brother at Gibbs...

I too find it ridiculous that Kyle wasn't fired after banworthy actions, yet Kurt Busch did on a comparatively cleaner slate. (Though that doesn't say much)

When you drive for Roger Penske, you give him and the team respect. Kurt Busch has had no respect for this team throughout the past few years. And if this is true, he deserves to go. And if Shell/Pennzoil decides to leave as well, I think that sponsorship should go to Roush Fenway.

About time this happened. Rodger Penske and the #22 crew deserve someone better than Kurt Busch, who constantly verbally abuses them and keeps getting them into hot water with both the sponsors and the media in the wake of each of his angry meltdowns with the media.
I think I can already hear a phone call to David Reutimann from the Captian about taking over the #22 Shell/Pennzoil Charger

There is a major difference between the two. What Kyle did was in the truck series and with KBM not Cup and JGR, Kurt did it with Cup and Penske which is why Penske would have a greater reason for canning him.

I don't think Roger will put Sam Hornish in the car, he's gone on record saying he regrets putting Sam into Cup so fast the first time, he won't do it again. I wouldn't be surprised if he hires Ragan or Reitimann for a season or two ( If the 22 hangs onto sponsorship) before giving Sam another shot.

I'm sure some team will pick Kurt up because of what happened in 2004.... the almighty past champion provisional would come in handy for any team that wants to have a great shot of making the races, or guaranteed if Tony doesn't transfer the #14 points to the #10.

I'm just in relief for his whole team. They won't have to question when their weekly verbal assault will take place. Addington got outta there because he was sick of it. Now he's gonna be relieved when Tony complains about his tires and says its Goodyear's fault and not Addingtons.

Have to say though, the disrespect Kurt showed to Dr. Jerry Punch, a respected media veteran whom I have lots of respect for and is one of my favorites, has turned me off of him forever now.
