Yup. I can vouch there. I did that once and no big name league will allow me in. I was naive and didn't know anything, and that got me banned from most leagues. Got me kicked out of leagues I was already in.
Haven't even attempted to online race since. Well, OK, thats a lie. I did get into one league. But that was a new one. I never raced a race. Only did some practice laps in the summer.
I don't even have time to do anything with NR2003 anymore, so it's not that big of a deal.
Kurt & Kyle race for different teams, different sponsors. There's really no comparing crimes & punishments. If you try to, nothing will make sense. The parallel you're looking for does not exist.
Being a douche is being a douche regardless of who you drive for. They've both brought a negative light to their teams, manufacturers and sponsors for their antics.
