Kyle Busch Motorsports to Nationwide series in 2012!

Kyle Busch: Some good news we are finally able to release today, in 2012 Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) will be fielding a Toyota Camry full time in the Nationwide Series! Driver(s) and Sponsor announcement coming soon!

Yeah, I know I'm a Kyle Busch "fan boy"!

Any ideas of possible Drivers/Sponsors? Do you think Kyle will take the #18 and Dollar General to "his team" and open the door for Ryan Truex at JGR? Should be interesting to see what happens!

I would LOVE it if it were Cole Whitt for the driver. I don't think he has anything lined up for next year yet and he's too awesome of young talent to let go.

XD I don't see that happening anytime soon. He said that he might end up racing the KBM car next year but he doesn't know right now.

I think RedBull is determined to advance Whitt in their "program". KB is attached to NOS Energy, so I do not see Cole Whitt in the car. I do, however, see Ickler in it....what number? I don't know. Didn't Kyle used # 4 in Legends? # 51 could be available, too. Don't see Clements returning next year. Who knows? I just think it's funny considering he was talking about ALL the struggles he had with Truck team...

I think this is pretty cool for KB. I don't like him, but I like seeing someone give new drivers a chance. Hopefully he signs someone worth signing.

As SRD's Second Biggest KB fanboy let me just say this.

He essentially owned the 18 in nationwide competition anyway when he ran in. He attracted the teams sponsors to cover a nationwide team he wont enough to make sure the younger drivers had a car with alot of money put into it and was and still is a great spokesman for his sponsors imo.

As for the Harvick Comment I dont think anything Like that in some matter I think him owning a team has helped calm him. In a sense I think he got an Idea as to how costly it is to teams to drive through people. Will it help him in the long run? Only time can tell.

As far as I know Carl is essentially stopping next year. Plus, this thread is about KBM racing in Nationwide next year, not Kyle himself (even though he will be racing too). KBM will be giving a young driver an opportunity to drive and prove himself, and that's great, whether it's KBM doing it or some other team.
