I think cup drivers should be limited to cup. It would be hard to find enough drivers to fill there spots that the team owner agrees on but last year, out of all the nationwide races, 1 nationwide only driver win. I personally think its ridiculous how boring the nationwide and some truck races are. I really only watch the nationwide race to see the crashes cause a cup driver is going to win. Plus the main story on nascar.com is about the point system, so far only 1 driver has won a race in nationwide or trucks that is going for the title in that series. Guys like Kyle ruin potentially good series with their domination.

Its not just that he's running in the series. Its that it is almost every week...and in top notch equipment.

Back in the late 90s/early 00s...there were still a lot of Cup drivers in Busch races, but there weren't any full-time ones...and the funding to the lower tier teams was proportionally greater, and the equipment was closer in that there wasn't a huge influx of Cup minds in the Busch series garage. Even when Nemechek, Burton, Martin, et al ran back then...guys like LaJoie, Magic Shoes McLaughlin, Todd Bodine, Buckshot, Bessey, Amick, Elton Sawyer, David Green, Purvis, etc, etc...all stood a more than fair chance of winning.

Just sayin, look who's finishing in the top five behind him:
2. Carl Edwards
3. Kevin Harvick
4. Brad Keselowski
5. Joey Logano

All of whom are CUP drivers, the same guys who race on Sunday, so it's like beating the same competition twice.

You know, I have no real reason to not like Kyle, and I won't have one. That is, until he passes Martin on the all-time N'Wide wins list. Then I'll be pissed! but only because I grew up on Mark Martin, have been a fan ever since I was two :p

You know what would solve the problem?

Make the weekends logistically impossible for Kyle Busch and co. to sweep the weekend.

As in, Trucks in Phoenix, Busch in Myrtle Beach, Cup in Richmond. Lower the ticket prices, too.

Well, Knaus has played a HUGE roll in those 5 Sprint Cups. Take him out of the equation, JJ might have a couple of championships, and those probably not back to back.
There was a guy named Richard Petty that won seven Championships with the same crew chief. Hell that crew chief left and won another with Terry Labonte. Never do you here more about Dale Inman than THE KING!:-/

Very rarely and I mean maybe once has a crew chief went to another driver and won the Championship after winning one with another driver.
