Lap cars should pit second time around not the First!

I was just racing Bristol and noticed that the lap cars pitted the same time the lead lap cars pitted under caution. Is there a code in the track ini that can make them pit the second time by or is it hard coded in the exe???

I believe it's hard-coded into the NR2003 executable, so you can't change it.

Did the crew chief said anything about a "quickie yellow?"

I don't race offline, but when I do race online, lapped cars have to pit 2nd time by no matter what or the game gives out an End of Longest Line penalty.

yeah I thought that was weird, No crew didn;t say quickie yellow. It struck me because that was the first time Ive seen that or paid attention to it.

It's happened to me, but I just figured it was a quickie yellow.

Yeah probably was a quickie yellow because normally even on offline races they pit second.

I also had this experience in Atlanta and other tracks, IMO it's a track-specific AI bug.

It must have something to do with how many laps of yellow there are going to be, because this happens occasionally to me too.
