Looking for a logo

Hello everyone. My name is Javier Sanchez, I am a Spanish road racing rider and took time looking for graphic designers who work typefaces sporty or style racing. Not sure if looking for a designer here is right or not, I think it´s right...

As I said, I'm looking for a graphic designer who can do the following sports or racing logos with the correct and ideal typography:

- Initials of my name (JS)
- Number (11)
- My name (J.Sánchez)

As for colors I'd like something simple, black and white. I am willing to pay $ 150 for the job and could pay via PayPal or bank transfer. Send your suggestions via my e-mail (jsanchezmoro@aol.com) or here.

Just a heads up, there's really no need to pay for someone to make something like this for you. A lot of members in this community can make something for you free of charge, I would just hate to see a few greedy people try and take money from you for something someone would do for free.

While I agree...at the same time. Graphic designers get paid a lot of money. It's work, as you know. Yeah, most of us do it for free, but something professional usually it's common for a monetary exchange of some sort. People can do it for free. But, I'm sure most of the members in this community would like to see some type of monetary gain for their hard work. It's not greedy to think this way...considering also this isn't a design for a video game. We volunteer to keep this community alive. But a lot of us would love to get into this profession.

As for this thread...I'm not sure how the rules go for this type of thing on the board. But...I may be able to do something. Also... $150 is a large sum of money...in my personal opinion, for a simple logo like this, it would be too much. But I'm not sure.

I always pay for the orders, I don´t know if $ 150 is too much for the design of what I ask but I am going to wait to future deals. I would like to get a good logo, I really hate the simple designs, I have seen similar design with the same typography between different companies and it is appalling to the public. Anyway, I hope to find someone competent in this forum. Thank you

Just for future reference, basic logos such as this shouldn't be more than $75-$100. That said, I can see what I can whip up that way you have a couple things to choose from both Burtonbraves and I. I am sure we can get this worked out for you bud! I also don't expect the money, although it is a nice gesture. Most of the stuff I do for sim racing community members is free. Kinda like a "friends discount" haha.

If I can not find any designer would greatly appreciate that any people could pass me some font style racing or nascar in order to inspire future designers candidate for my logo. Again, Thank you very much

Let's clear this up now, who ever decides to do this for him, either you can only use fonts you commercially paid for or are available for free legally. Other wise the font company in which you use said font can sue you. So just so you all know you can not create or profit from the use of something which you didn't pay for. Means don't use pirated fonts! And fonts found on dafont.com and other sites like that are listed as not for commercial use by some of the foundry designers so check to make sure you dont do something to get you in hot water.

If he uses this on an official bike and a company notices it, there is a license that goes with that font that if you didn't purchase to make said work you can be held responsible.

Exactly, I know, my idea is to make a logo inspired in nascar or racing style fonts, but varying some aspects of the typography to avoid legal problems. Anyway, thanks for your advice.

Oh that wasnt meant for you, more of whom ever takes up the job. Just dont want to see you get a bad taste in your mouth from dealing with anyone. Some people might try that, just want to make sure who ever does the job understands the rules of working in the real world and doing things like this. Some of the painters in the community are younger and do not think like an adult will or a person from the corporate world.

For instance, in a lot of these free fonts there is a text file that states something like this:

"You may use this version of 'FILL IN THE BLANK FONT' for personal use only. If you wish to use it commercially you will need to purchase a license.

Please contact: info@tattoowoo.com about pricing."
