From Jayski...looks like 2010 Cup "ROTY" Kevin Conway is going full-time again in 2012. Looks like Extenze can make a moving chicane's career longer too.

Conway Eyes Full-Time 2012 Race Schedule: Former Front Row Motorsports driver Kevin Conway start-and-parked the #97 NEMCO Motorsports Toyota Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway, but he did share some good news about both he and sponsor ExtenZe's futures in the Sprint Cup Series with News/Talk WSB before the Good Sam Club 500. "We're definitely going to be back pretty much on a full-time basis. We're getting all the i's dotted and t's crossed and hopefully will get something finalized and firmed up shortly." Conway said he could not elaborate until he and the team made an announcement, but did not rule out NEMCO Motorsports, the team that he has worked with on a part-time basis in the Nationwide and Cup Series this season. Conway also said he may run either the Nationwide or Cup races at Texas or Phoenix, but had not finalized those plans.(WSB Radio)(10-25-2011)

He could have used the money he's promised to those three different teams and bought a couple 2009-2010 hendrick or RCR cars and maybe run better than 43rd every friggin weekend. Honestly I feel bad because thats the third team he could possibly leave seriously out of pocket.

Did Joe not learn from what happened with Front Row Motorsports or with Robby Gordon?

I will say I feel sorry for Joe because when Conway/Extenze screws Joe out of money, his pockets aren't quite as deep as FRM's or Robby's are.

I say if it comes down between Robby Gordon and Kevin Conway for the last spot in a field we put the 2 in a boxing ring and have them duke it out and whoever emerges victorious gets the spot.

I still don't believe all the swindling really happened. And Conway and Extenze have been working with Joe in a couple of cup races and several Nationwide races. Do you really think that Joe would even consider it if he hasn't been paid? Front Row and Robby are kinda losers on their own when it comes to public relations and suing. I just hope that Conway would stay in truck/Nationwide instead of going back to cup.

Yeah I don't really think that Conway has a place in the Cup Series. He should run trucks for a little while and see how he does there, and then maybe work his way up if he can actually drive. He hasn't been in good equipment to really prove anything, but I don't think he could even if he was. And screwing everyone out of money like he has isn't going to get him anywhere either.
I don't know what Joe's deal is with him, but I'm guessing he's getting the money before he puts Conway in a car, because he would have dropped him already I'd figure if he hasn't, especially with Conway's past.
I just think he's bad for the sport.

Conway and Extenze seemed to have learned their lesson considering the relationship NEMCO and Extenze have seemed to have in 2011.

Very pleased to see KevCon going full time.

As for him being bad for the sport, how? The casual fan doesn't even know who he is. Ha ha.

Just remembered the only Conway comic from Douglas Ladd's The Pits. Had to dig it up from the archive. :)

I love that.

Though, I wonder just when KevCon will stop swindling people and get kicked in the rear for what he's done.

Well going by the thread title he is. I'd rather put Robby in the field than him any day, least Robby has a history of talent, winning in a lot of stuff.

When FRM sued him, one may have said 'Okay, we'll give him the benefit of the doubt...maybe FRM is just trying to gouge Conway for money"...

Then RGM sued him..."Okay...it's a pattern now. Conway and Extenze are not trustworthy..."

Nemco has only run him in select races this season, most likely because Joe waited for payment before he would run him...which is smart.

Now it sounds like he'll run the full slate with Nemco next year...maybe because Joe trusts him now, but I can't imagine Conway and sponsor paying for the whole season up front...

Based on the history here, Con-job recieves no benefit of the doubt in terms of him bringing a sponsor to the table...none at all.

How is he bad for the sport if he's paying what he says he will? It's still better than S&P's.

I'm saying if he keeps joining these teams and screwing them over. If he actually does pay up and the sponsorship is paying for the car and the team etc, then it is awesome for the sport. I didn't mean that he was bad for the sport talent wise.

I think Joe's gotta use his head, like he has said before a couple of times in this video: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0QLqEw_yC8&feature=player_embedded"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0QLqEw_yC8&feature=player_embedded[/ame]

Kevin Conway deserves to have a full-time ride as much as a rotten potato does.
