The red should prolly be just a tinsy bit mor brighter. Nice job though ;)

I agree, just make the red a tad bit darker and your golden. great job

Well the only problem is how do I do that with the lack of painting experience of nr2003 I have I really dont know how I could do that.

OK, I dont have or know anything about cs3 but I can sure as hell bet you want to tweak with the colors tab and something along the lines of colorize and contrast.

Well what I did was find a picture of the real car then use the color selector and picked the color of that part

That could have been the pictures colors that hurt you.
Here is an example.

This car is pure black, but the picture makes it look gray.

Yeah your right because some of the cars I did when I use pics like that It could change the color a little bit

Cant use color picker when making bases. You'll be thrown off by lighting in the picture which will make the color seem lighter or darker. One of the more common examples I use when explaining this is the old 31 cingular/AT&T car. In pictures and on TV it looked orange. But when you got up close to it, it was more of a bright reddish orange.

Start out easy, then go big. May I suggest this one next...

hmmmm I think I can do it but it may not be well.

Edit: Im currently trying to make the base and addition to that Im also doing the #05 Wayne Day Enterprises Base
