Hey everyone, I've done alot of researching about lucid dreaming and meditation and ive practiced both meditation and lucid dreaming alot but cant seem too find any results :/ Thats why im here now, I'm looking for any help or tips on bettering my lucid dreaming and meditation. I guess I can post what im trying too accomplish so whoever reads this is on the same page as me.

Meditation:

I want to be able too meditate whenever (day or night) And I'm hoping (if this is possible) for my experiences when I meditate too be just like real life, almost like a separate world that id be in (if this makes since). See there's this show I've watched alot and I'd love too be in the same type of scenario and world as the TV show, so maybe I can achieve this by meditating? Is there any tips or tricks anyone has that could help me mediate? Is there any exercises or something that can maybe stimulate my brain and help me concentrate? Are there certain foods or drinks I should eat or drink to help me as well?
I almost forgot too mention, the times I've tried meditating I ended up losing count of my breathing patterns and ended up falling asleep :(

Lucid Dreaming:
I just cant seem how to lucid dream. I've listened too binarial beats on YouTube and there was one that was 7 hours I listened too and I cant remember lucid dreaming but I know when I woke up I felt completely relaxed and refreshed! I've tried the "reality checks" trick, I've tried finding things in my dream that are in my real life day to day bur still cant seem to lucid dream. Is there any tips or anything I can do to lucid dream??

Thanks anyone who replies :)

A) Can you clarify what you are attempting to do? There are many forms of meditation and what you describe, to put it flatly, makes it sound like you are trying to enter another dimension. lol

B) Lucid dreams actually result in you feeling less refreshed if you have them because your brain is more active than in a normal state of rest or dreaming (which allows one to be able to judge that it is a dream). There is no one trigger that works for all people. Unfortunately, you're going to have to figure that one out on your own. Personally, I've found thinking about a surreal situation repeatedly with my eyes closed (prior to falling unconscious) tends to trigger it more than usual, but being able to consistently lucid dream "on demand" is a rare trait and, as I said, what I do to attempt to lucid dream might not work for you.

This is the second time I have seen this question asked. The other was on a fishing forum. There was a three or four pages talking about it. In the end it it got locked a believe. But there was a lot of things said like Mark said.

Hijinix I would not call that lucid dreaming, or even mediation. Granted when your drunk you fell like your flying. Then when you wake in the morning. Every thing you did last night felt like a dream. In till you roll over and there is a woman you have no clue who she is. Laying next you you, and you have no fliping clue were the hell you are. Or why there is a hand cuff on your wrist. Let alone were your clothes are.
