Melware warnings?

Just wondering if anybody knew of a good free program to search for and remove melware off my computer? I'm not sure if my virus pretection will remove these or not. But i have McAfee. I got some kinda of warning the other day about it on a website. I just went to my task manager and ended the internet before pressing ok.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is the best.

You're gonna have a ton of different answers. It's mostly a matter of choice.
Anti-Virus usually don't remove mal/spywares. You'll need a more specific software.
