Miller Lite Re-ups with Penske BUT....

"In 2014, Miller Lite will continue to adorn the side of the #2 Ford Fusion for 24 NSCS points-paying races. Miller Lite will maintain a position as a major associate sponsor for the remaining 12 races of the 2014 season. This new agreement extends a partnership between Penske Racing and MillerCoors that spans more than 30 years, one of the longest and strongest sponsor-team relationships in all of sports"

Keselowski also signed an extension with Penske Racing.

So, Miller Lite isn't a full year sponsor anymore? That SUCKS.

That was technically a Verizon scheme, on the #12, they just weren't allowed to have Verizon on the car because of Sprint sponsoring the series, so they used the Verizon paint scheme and designs and just labeled it "Penske", like EA Sports and Activision did for Miller Lite and Budweiser and such.

It will be interesting to see what sponsor they have lined up. Maybe Alliance Auto parts? That would explain the Sam Hornish deal....

A smart marketing move by Penske. He can probably get more money by selling 12 races to someone else than having Miller pay for the extra races. If things work well with the new sponsor be can sell them more races in 2015 for a possible 3rd team and have Miller back as full sponsor of the 2.

Looking at how they're doing on the stocks there are a TON of red numbers... I'd doubt Kodak comes back.

Penske has a number of sponsors who would love to step up for one or a few races.

Discount Tire, AAA, Snap-On, etc...

Hornish has been kicked to the curb because of sponsorship. I imagine the sponsors that adorn the # 12 Ford will be stepping up to sponsor the # 2 Sprint Cup team. Ryan Blaney has been kicking butt and they say he will remain in the Trucks next season with limited Nationwide schedule. I believe Alliance, Discount Tire, Snap-On, Wurth will be splitting the schedule on the # 2 Ford.

Keselowski could talk to his sponsors on his Truck team and see if they want to do a race or 2 in Cup.
