My new project.....

Decided to do something for myself. Might put it up for d/l, maybe not. But anyway i plan on putting skittles on the front like the m&m's cars. any other ideas?

looks like the old #36 scheme for the late 90's. looks good sofar. maybe you should also carry the stripes through the hood

The hood is where the skittles candies are going to go though. but i guess ill try it. and i based it off the '98 car

Ok, i made up the base, and it looks better with the stripes going thru the hood. all i need now is a number(im thinking of making the old style #36 but not sure) and a few associate sponsors. the car is being rendered now, and scott, i will make it like KB's toyota, but it will be on a toyota bc i have a KB base for the toyota.....thats alot of toyota's in one sentence lol

NICE job, I vote for the 36, may I suggest putting a green or yellow skittle on the roof to place the number on

or maybe try a red skittle on the roof though. and yes the #36 fits real well with this scheme. and also maybe try filling up the front of the car with the skittles like kyles car ie going into and down the finders and onto the front bumper and lower valence.

but over all this car is really coming to gether as an awesome fictional:swoon:

KB's car doesnt do that. I modeled the Candie's off of his car. They go as low as mine do. But i couldnt have done that anyway bc of the stripes on the front. But thanks for all the comments

but i think for some reason it looks alittle bare with only 4 skittles on the hood.

i just got an idea, how bout trying the nose of what elliot saddler did when he was with RYR and the #38?

cause it seems like the nose could use a couple more skitttles on the front.

I added a purple skittle to the front. Im getting it rendered. I added the skittle and a number. and also i finished KB's version for scott. i will unveil that tomorrow

Ooo... pretty. I think you should make the hood (and the rear) white, so that it doesn't clash with the red stripe layer right next to it. If not white then some other color that makes it stand out more.

I dont want to make it stand out bc this is supposed to resemble the 1998 car which had the exact same stuff except all the candies on it

Yea, i thought of the Dupont scheme also. I might make that, not sure tho. and from now the plan is to make this #36 car, then put a #4 on it with accurate MMM logos. so there will be two cars and the KB car
