Nationwide Mod Usage

Just wondering if the Nationwide11 mod that you guys created is free-to-use, because I was at the race at RIR last weekend, and I saw two displays there (Nationwide and American Majority) with simulators running the NWS11 mod.

Just wanted to let ya'll know.

Sorry, I didn't have my camera with me. As far as I know though, the Nationwide display is at the track anytime the NWS runs. They've got this two sided simulator, running NR2003 and the NWS11 mod, and basically, if you finish without wrecking, you get a prize. The whole setup is within the front half of a full sized race car.

Going to have to go through all my Daytona pics and see if it was there, that whole rain-fest towards the end of the weekend clouds any positive memory I had. That set up is awesome and couldn't be better free advertising for all parties. It would be cool to get some more pics of the rig, maybe if someone was to send Nationwide a "thank you letter" we could get some more specs on it.

...or at least get an SRD decal on the side of the simulator.

That is DAMN AWESOME to see the mod on a simulator at the track. And it is further proof that NR2003 is not gonna disappear any time soon.

They're not gonna pay for a mod in the simulator that goes track-to-track and no one pays to drive.

Not only that, but asking them for something when 'technically' you used the likeness of NASCAR without authorization could result in you receiving a return letter .... in the form of a bill or lawsuit.

Granted it's unlikely, but I leave things as they are, and we can revel in the fact and knowledge that SRD made this possible.
