Need help with new rig!

Got my new rig yesterday and got it setup this morning. The problem is that its apparently not reading my monitor. When I start it up the monitor stays in power save mode....?

This monitor was working this morning with my old rig.


I'm not sure whats going on here. Any suggesions would be awesome!

Is it possible my new rig is setup for DVI instead of VGA?

Never mind guys, I got it. VGA wouldn't work. Had to plug it up to a converter then to a "DVI'ish" looking port>
