need help with sony vegas

i just got sony vegas 8, and i know the basics of it, i used to use windows movie maker so im not totally new at making movies. in alot of videos on youtube i see people that make NR2003 videos and have a scrolling ticker and they put the scrolling ticker in sony vegas. does anyone know how you have your nr2003 video and a ticker thats scrolling in the same video?



anyone know how its done??


also, is there any effects you can download?
any effects, and also effects like fire, smoke, fog, lava etc?

Don't really know about the ticker, but there are some plugins for Sony Vegas here:
NewBlueFX | Video plugins and audio effects for Avid Liquid, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Apple Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion, Corel VideoStudio, Pinnacle Studio, Sony Vegas, Canopus Edius and other video editors - NewBlueF

I'm not sure how they work though.

get a nr2003 race thing with a ticker and place it aboce your video u want a ticker for
then u crop the ticker
