I can't possibly be the only one that hates the new website. I missed the Nationwide race yesterday because I couldn't find the starting time, and had to watch a Spanish re-run to get to the interviews, which did not seem to be up on the website. It seems like all the important information is so generalized, and makes it impossible for me to find information on what I actually care about, rather than a gigantic header picture blabbing about Danica week in and week out.

What do you guys think?

The website sucked before and is worse now! I have to get all my info off jayski or the other sports networks!

Your absolutly right! It seems to take hours for the links to be created.
And what about the whole statistics? Are they all gone? Or I'm too stupid to find 'em.
I made myself a NASCAR calendar to have a view of all series in one view.
To get the box score and other results and stats I'm using actual JAYSKI's NASCAR site.

Oh cool, not the only one that feels like this! I'm going to send an email, not that it's going to do anything...

I just sent a two-page email to NASCAR's fan feedback email. Tried to keep my head. Let's wait four and a half weeks while their team pretends to care. (n)

"First and foremost, we want to thank you for your interest in NASCAR. You can be assured that we take your feedback seriously. Everyone at NASCAR understands that the success of our sport depends on the support of the fans.

We read every e-mail we receive from our fans and respond to as many as possible. Thanks again, and we hope you enjoy the rest of the season."

This email is an auto response message.

Such a joke...

The new site is absolute garbage. The only reason I ever went back to it after I stopped watching is because it seems like the only site that used to have owners standings, rookie standings and manufacturer standings, but now, none of those are even obtainable on the new one.

When it ain't broke, don't fix it.

yeah everything is too big to see. I hate websites that design it for mobile phones / tablets and completely forget there are still people who view websites from a computer, what a concept! I don't use that junk and don't need a website that clearly was not designed for pc users.

People need to keep in mind that Nascar's only been in control of this site for a few months, and is very far from having everything hammered out in terms of the site itself, and what they want to do with it. Things are going to be woncky and odd-looking for a while.

I dont mind the layout of the new site at all. I think its cleaner than the previous one. Aside from that, people dont like change in general, so its only natural that a lot of people dont like it right out the gate.

That being said, what I did take issue to, is the problems with Raceview. I pay $80 for a subscription that I wasnt able to use for the Shootout, the Duels, the damn Daytona 500, and Phoenix. All because they couldnt get their shit together within the previous two months leading up to the start of the season (and the first three weeks into the season). I find it completely unacceptable. And I gave them a piece of my mind on it too. It just shouldnt have happened like that.

I don't like the new site either. The old site wasn't the best, but it was way better than the new one. I can't stand how they have everything organized.

Don't they have it on the right of the main pictures that change?

I was just going to say that. Right at the top of the page where the main stories are, they post a schedule of the whole weekend - practices, qualifying, and race times, along with the TV coverage.

That being said, I'm not sure how far out they post it. So if you go there tomorrow looking for the Fontana schedule, it might not be there. But I know its there at least on Thursday.

Sometimes, but that particular "slide" gets removed seemingly randomly before the race actually starts.

Its as though the stories from Trucks/Nwide/Qualifying bump that slide from the list until someone bothers to fix it. I went to check last night and it wasn't there.

It sucks, every year it gets worse it seems, it wasn't broken why do they keep trying to fix everything? Has anyone I mean anyone said, "WOW, Love the new site look!" No, but as with everything in NASCAR only a very few opinions matter. We ain't them.
