New NASCAR Game Coming From Eutechnyx

Eutechyx is known for its prominent failures like Big Mutha Truckers, Street Racing Syndicate, LA Rush, Pimp My Ride, The Fast and the Furious, along with many more. The only good game from them (as far as I know) is Test Drive: Le Mans.

Plus, it will be published by Activision. Going by their recent track record...not good.

You forgot a host of other fails too

I posted this over on the Eutechnyx forums, I'll post it over here also to see what you guys think. Really the first & Last paragraph all are ya need to read, the big list(s) in the middle was just for the Europeans over on their forums who don't know NASCAR exists outside of the Cup series.



I look at it this way. I (and many other NASCAR fans) just want a company to take enough pride in the license to include all 11 NASCAR series along with the 112 tracks (as of 2010) that NASCAR currently races on.

Also I feel adding the Canadian Series & Mexican Series will help the game sell more copies because more people in those two countries would more then likely be more willing to buy a game that features their regional NASCAR series it in. The same can be said for the other NASCAR series that don't make up the "Top 3", not only would it give a true representation of NASCAR & allow players to work their way up the ladder in Career mode, but people who may not normally buy NASCAR games would be more likely to buy it if their local track or "their brothers father-in-law" who races in the east series could be in the game, etc...

I think the day we'll see a good Nascar game again is the day hell freezes over to be honest. GT5 will be the closest we'll get for a long long long time. This new game has licensing failure written all over it. I have a feeling Nascar games are going to go the same rout the older nascar games did back in the late 80's and early 90's. I really really want to be wrong about this but it's just not looking took good..

But I'd rather get this game coming out in February 2011 than GT5 if I wanted a Nascar game.

You're right on Fisha about Canada and Mexico.

I have high hopes for this just because it'll be a new game for XBOX. I've wanted a new console game for a while, and I don't have XBOX Live, so I can't get new stuff for NASCAR 09. This guy has a decent track record, I'm gonna be optimistic and hope for the best.

I doubt this will be a simulator like you all are hoping for. This will probably be an arcade game kind of like daytona usa and re-release on consoles.

Not to metion no spotter,and no control of your car on pit road,no cautions or flags for that matter,and probably not all of the tracks unless they add those as additional downloadable content which I highly doubt.But I guess we should be 'thankful' that we are getting some form of Nascar...........:arghh:

Yep. I'll just stick with my NR2003. The kind mod makers and painters that still thankfully slave away over this true simulator every year still make it the best on the market!

Well, if your smart enough to do it and you don't tell nobody about it, then you can add new physics and stuff like that.
