New Nascar game

A brand new game came out on PC this year... Nascar The Game 2013. Get it on steam. It's predecessor, Nascar '14 is coming out in a month or so. Not expecting much.

Don't buy the 2013 game for anything over 5-10 dollars, though.

But still, will you ever have this huge amount of tracks and mods, like exists for NR2003? I am think - no... and maybe never any game can reach those numbers...

Sad thing is I didnt even no about Nascar the game not much hype about it I guess. I will probably give it a go but Will most likely go back to NR2003.. So does Nascar 14 doesnt get your hopes up Wesley

iRacing.

Its sad sometimes because iRacing is basically what Papyrus would have done post-NR2003. Sucks EA Sports ruined the NASCAR gaming realm.

I understand iRacing has a Stock Car component. However a dedicated OFFLINE NR2014 would be awesome. Something I can mod Tracks, Cars, etc with. Something I dont have to subscribe to.

I havent looked that deep in Nascar the game or the upcoming Nascar 14 but If I cant paint a car with my own sponsers etc.. in Paint shop that is a deal breaker for me.. I think

I think you can but you're limited with a certain number of preset sponsors, number styles and various shapes. It's nothing like painting for NR2003

Oh ok.. I might just be sticking with Nr2003.. I mean I will admit even with all the mods etc.. Nascar the game looks better. I wish they would have looked at what made 2003 such a succes. I mean painting was a big thing for everyone not to mention things like leagues.

Yeah it does but that's literally all that is actually better. Anyone reading this, don't be fooled. It does look awesome but it just doesn't matter when the game mechanics are terrible. They continue to release crap one after the other.

I havent played the game much just looked at a few tracks not really drove much so not up to speed on the mechanics. But Nascar14 next month is going to have to address the paint and mechanics before I switch.

You know, I wish a company was smart enough to look at what was successful about the best game in the genre they're releasing. I understand companies want to be different and all but if you take what made a game great and add it to yours and improve upon it.

Hell what an awesome game it would be.

Look at NR2003, make your game similar and improve using the newest things you have. Boom success.
