Sorry for another new thread, but I'm slowly learning, I've been looking for the new repaved Phoenix track, and the progressive banking Homestead track. I found a Homestead track on here, but it's the flat one, and the link for the new Phoenix track doesn't work. Thank you very much!

Note: before installing the new Phoenix, back up the original one by Papy because the BR version overrides it

Any word on if BullRing is working on a Night Version of Phoenix?

Off topic, but didn't feel it was necessary to make a whole new thread. The new Phoenix is awesome, it's accurate and fun, but the AI seems off. They can't go one lap without seeming to wreck, and with one mod, they putt around the track in a single file line at 50 mph. On 105% difficulty. Does anybody happen to have a fix for this, or know how to fix it? Thanks!

Wow. I can't even get mine to work. It just says "Cannot load track." But wrecks every lap do sound fun.

I have never had this Wreck every lap problem that you seem to be stating. Im sure more people would have come forward with that as a bug if it was really happening.

I have raced all types of mods here and I dont have that problem. Nor do I have the 50mph problem. CTS, CTS09, Cup, Cup11 & 12, BRCOT.

No problems. Did you alter the INI?

Not at all, this has been happening for a while, though lately I have begun to notice it more.

I raced a 32 lap race with BR12 and won by 7 seconds with over 30 cars out. That was the last race I was able to run with that mod. The 50mph was with the PWF CTS mod.

I just finished running a full Phoenix race on the RR download. If it isn't loading make sure you have those updated shared files from the site. I think there's two of them.

But I was using the NR Ratings program and, while it was neat, it created driver disparaty by adjusting the driver's ability for each type of track. I mean some were at 0 or in the low 20's. This means those drivers are inept at driving those types of tracks and will wreck ALL THE TIME.

Because I really have nothing better to do with my very little free time, I came up with an excel spreadsheet and thought process that comes up with those ratings a little different yet still maintains the disparaty.

Long story short, check your driver's ratings if they are in the 20's - 50's for speedways, they will wreck a lot because those ratings make them drive like morons. When I used my ratings, I ran a full race with only about 3 or 4 cautions and a few of those were because the pit line merge is right in the middle of the kink and cars on the race lp smash into the back of those exiting pit lane. Otherwise, the AI run a smart race.

Also drop the aggression levels down to the mid 50's to start with. The description says this rating has to do with patience and since impatience causes mistakes, you'll get a lot of cars trying to dive-bomb eachother; which is more prevalent on short tracks.

Which you shouldn't need to do. Just change the names of what you need to to make it proper.

But if you want to race online, you're gonna have to rename it back and if you have online replays, you're screwed. Because of you change the track name back, you're gonna lose your online replays at Phoenix. And besides when I rename a track, it gives me a Cannot Load Track error. It's best to just back up your old Phoenix and put it in a safe folder

Who still races online? Just you and two other people with one guy leaving before the race even starts. I don't see the point anymore since it hasn't been fun since the Sierra lobby shutdown. Besides thats what the current games are for anyways. Way more fun with way more people.

Got the tracks downloaded successfully, they are awesome. One more question, I seem to be having troubles at every track with the setup, I'm REALLY loose on entry and after about 5 laps I get really tight from center to exIt, stIll loose on entry the whole run. I've found some things on here saying wrong trackbar adjustments will cause it to be free on entry. Then I also found that if you are aggressive you will wear your tires and being hard on throttle will cause them to wear fast. I setup the car as loose as possible to where I can't hardly drive it and in a few laps it won't turn, and I try to be conservative. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong? Thanks.

There's still leagues out there

Is there a way to get online for casual racing? I've looked up videos on youtube, but that looks way too difficult.

I was wondering if there was a way to make the ai spread out faster on the initial start and on restarts and make them move up to the wall more and next to the wall on the straightaways at the Homestead track? Thanks in advance.

I SECOND THIS! ^

Everyone races so closely at the start, it's a bit unrealistic, and personally, makes me really nervous. I understand it's a restart (or a start) but you dont see guys bunched up like this till the final 20ish... Any way to get people to spread out, and focus on position instead of staying in a pack on ALL the tracks? (Minus the SS, of course)
