Man, I don't know what anybody is seeing in Johnson's car. That thing is more ugly than its ever been. Blue and white is probobly my least favorite mix for a race car. Maybe this will make him run worse!

I can't say I've been impressed by any of the schemes released so far aside from Stewart's three and somewhat the 56 for Truex. The 39 and silver 99 look good, though they did this year as well. Sometimes it's better not to change a scheme.

Some paint jobs just work, like the unfortunately-soon-to-be-gone Jack Daniel's 07. Others don't, like pretty much every Budweiser scheme since Darrell Waltrip left Junior Johnson...........

The only scheme that I really like is the Silver Aflac one that Edwards will be driving...other than that....blah...

Johnson's is horrible...and the people at RPM are really going the minimalistic route with these schemes...seriously...can't they do anything other than plain red on the 9 car?

I believe the reason for the plain red is that's what Budweiser wants for a scheme.

When the sponsor wants simplistic, there's nothing a team can do but honor it. As for Petty allowing Budweiser, the way he sees it is as long as it's not on the family cars (43,44,45) it's not bad. The 9 and 19 are still considered Gillette/Evernham cars even though they're under the Petty banner.
