Hendrick himself said the official deal likely won't be signed until after the July 6th race at Daytona, which would've been the first unsponsored race.

UPS sponsors is Carl Edwards' primary usually once or twice a year now. And they're also an associate for him each race. So they're not gone.

I'd personally love to see someone like Alpinestars or Spotify. It would be logical to see Spotify jump into motorsports, they're featured as a sponsor in Grid 2 and they recently started doing advertisements.

Spotify could work, but Alpinestars already sponsored a truck team last year, so that is ruled out... unless Hendrick forgot.

Earnhardt Jr. and HMS brought them into the sport in 2008. Only reason BK has a suit deal with Adidas is because of JR Motorsports.
