The more I'm thinking about it there have been a lot of companies involved in NASCAR, past and present, including some of the ones that have already been mentioned.

I'm thinking back to when he left DEI and was rumored to go to JGR and Visa was mentioned as a potential sponsor. I was also thinking airlines as well, I can't think of any airline in NASCAR since Piedmont, so maybe US Air/Americn, United, SouthWest etc.

I normally hate speculating on these things but when it involves the most notable driver in the sport it's obviously a big deal.

Why do you hate it? Guessing is half the fun in these situations.

It's just one of those things that drives me nuts and makes me think about a million different possibilities, although this presents a nice challenge of giving me the whole "never been with NASCAR before"

While I'm at it though, for some reason for some reason I was thinking a company like SeaDoo or Bombardier as a whole, I thought way back and don't remember any Bombardier sponsorships

I wouldn't bet on it for a few reasons.

1 - Hendrick uses Windows 8 Surface tablets for telemetry.
2 - Apple's Siri doesn't support NASCAR, and it doesn't look like it will for awhile.
3 - Apple never sponsors anything. They just don't need to.

I'd like to see Amazon get involved in the sport...they could certainly afford a big name driver like Jr.

It's really anyone's guess as far as a sponsor though. Also, several times when teams say their sponsor is "new to the sport" they have already been involved in some way shape or form.
