Hi guys I just got my subscirption a few days ago and I have a couple of questions for those that may know.

The first is about paint shcemes. is it possible to convert my nr2k3 scheme over to iracing?
If not how does one go about getting a car painted?

The last is about steering ratio. it seems to only allow me to go as high as 16:1 which is way too low for me. in nr2k3 i never changed it from 32:1 no matter the track. is it possible to get higher than this?

The car templates for iRacing are a lot more complicated than they are for NR2003. They're an incredible pain to paint on due to the fact they won't release any type of car viewer. Your best bet would be to ask on their forums for a paint job. To get a better paint job, you may want to think about offering $5 in iRacing credits as an incentive.

Not sure about the steering ratio thingy. I do remember that after some of the legends races, my arms would be sore. Sure did have to wheel those little buggers.

I don't remember seeing in ANY class where you can go over 16:1 /18:1 in the steering ratio. Not entirely sure why.

Totally false. The fact that there is not a car veiwer hasn't hampered any of the good painters that post on the iRacing forums.

Yes, it is a small hurdle but you car view a car using a replay and rotate it around to check alignment by using the the provided camera editor. Hardly what I would call "a lot more complicated".

Some templates are challenging due to the nature of the detailed models iRacing uses but I guess I expect comments like these from biased people.
