Sup fellers? Just replace my old nvidia g card with a XFX 6770 and wanted to know if any of yall have any good settings as far as 3d applications settings go in the catalyst control panel? Im wanting to run everything at full potential in the game if possible. The card itself has 1gb of DDR5 memory on board and Im running in the hdmi port of the card to a asus 23inch hdmi monitor.

A new graphics card will help a little but if you were hoping for a huge boost in framerate with NR2003 it won't happen gpu wise. NR2003 is very cpu intensive, not so much gpu. Faster single cores are better for NR2003 than a high end gpu since NR2003 can only use a single core.

I have a gtx 680 4GB card and still have tracks that only give me 30 fps on max settings full field and the card is barely even being used for NR2003. A single core on my cpu gets used more than the card. Luckily I get actual use out of my card from games like Skyrim modded to the max. If I had the card just for NR2003 it would have been a waste.

Part of the reason I opted for 8GB DDR3 ram and a mid-range video card. I used the difference to buy a 3.6 Ghz DUAL core as opposed to the 2.4 Ghz quad core. With everything maxed out, with the grafx upgrades installed and a few extras forced via Nvidia's control panel, I get no less than 35FPS on the gen6 at most standard tracks in replay mode. I don't use Revamped tracks, personally unless you have a 4.0 GHz or higher per core CPU and some serious ram, the extra eye candy isn't worth the hit in performance IMO.

NR2003 only recognizes 512MB of your GPU. So it really doesn't matter how good you set your settings on it. Like they said above, NR2003 uses only 1 core, it that is where it all matters. And the newer your OS, the less frames you will get. I have a Dell XPS 410. It has quad core at 2.66GHz and I'm running a XFX Radeon 5670. On Windows XP, I get 60-140 FPS with everything on high at Revamped tracks with 42 car field, on Windows 7, it drops way down to 20-40 FPS max on like medium on every setting.

Im running a amd quad core at 2.6 per core I think. Also have 8gigs of ddr2 memory running w8ndows 7 64bit. Wonder if I would be better to go back to xp? Also noticed my tires look square sometimes, whats causing that?

You really need a faster CPU, 3.0 minimum. Using all the available tweaks, I have no problem running NR2003 on Win7. It runs just as well as it did on XP.

My cpu maxed out is 2.75 per core, so I guess that wont be enough to get full effects.
