Information overload. Mostly I'm just looking for info and help to find software to design and print paint schemes for my racecar. Adobe cs5 looks like the fore-runner, but it is too expensive to download. I need to be able to render 3d models to try and attract potential sponsors. Any idea's? Also, where do you guys get the racecar templates for photoshop?

Paint Shop Pro or the newest Photoshop are the best ones for designing car schemes. As for rendering in 3D, I'd say 3DS Max. Templates are in the download section here. If you can't find a specific template, just ask. Someone may have it and be willing to share it with you.

If you're serious about getting Paint Shop Pro, one of the best places to look is eBay. There are usually some pretty good deals on the older versions as well.
