Not able to get on multiplayer

Hello all, Ive just recently reinstalled nascar 2003 now that i got a new computer with windows 7 and i can run the game with out much lag or very very little lag ... How ever i cant seem to get on multiplayer and cant figure out why i do got the newest patch which i think is 1.2.0.7 .. Any help would be very much appreciated . Its the only problem i currently got with the game.

The official Sierra/Papyrus servers were taken down years ago. The only way to race online now is connecting to a private server through IP.

is there any mods i can get that still have multiplayer servers that are free?

SMSlobby is free thats what most use.

Are those the only 2 programs or are there more out there just gotta find them .. I currently got both of them but it seems that alot of servers are league racing only and have passwords on them .

Yeah, its mostly league racing now.
