??? 99% of the "reality" shows on TV today are based off of European ones... l0l

Real World, Road Rules, Jersey Shore (which I consider sort of a spin-off of Real World), Big Brother and every other "Let's put a group of people in a house" show started with a Dutch show that only ran 1 season called "Nummer 28".

Survivor and shows like that are based on the show "Expedition Robinson" which is from Sweden.

Dancing with the stars & all the similar shows since then are based off of the British show "Strictly Come Dancing"

Fear Factor was the American version of the Dutch show "Now or Neverland"

Wipeout is based on the various Japanese gameshows of similar style over the past few decades.

American Idol is based off of the British show "Pop Idol"

America's Got Talent is the US version of "Britain's Got Talent" which it was based off of though the US version ended up airing first.

Temptation Island (man anybody else remember the Redhead girl from that show?) was developed by a Dutch company and several versions were made at the same time.

Trading Spaces was an adaption of the BBC show Changing Rooms.

Dog Eat Dog was based on the UK version of the same name that debuted a year earlier

I could go on but I just realized I've gone on long enough already... haha

Wipeout is the only entertaining reality show on TV. America's Got Talent needs to go away and have all evidence of it's existence terminated. Every time I watch AGT it seems like at least one person just duplicates a Britain's Got Talent act they saw on YouTube.
