I got a new tower for my desktop. AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+. 2.00GHz, and 1.93 GB of RAM. It's not very expensive, only got it for $50. Anyway, I am having some issues with my NR2003 game after i've been on it for a while. Whether offline or online, it seems to like to crash after about 20-30 minutes of being on the game.

I didn't have any issues with the game on my older desktop, which is very puzzling. I do get good FPS on the game with higher graphics. I also seem to "lag" during online races. I've only been to one track online so far, Kentucky SDT 2013. It's like as if my game is choppy, but my FPS is fine. I turned down the graphics a bit, and it seemed to help slightly, but nothing else.

Anyone have a solution to this? I'd love to continue enjoying NR2003 as much as possible before other things in life get there.

I remember having this problem before. You might want to try and updating DirectX.

Could be a heat issue. Your system is very marginal for NR2003. Do you have a graphics card, or onboard graphics?

I'm not sure if I do have a graphics card. This came from the back of the other high school in my town. They were selling computers and laptops for relatively cheap prices on an early Saturday morning a few weeks ago. It's very fast, but I haven't made any modifications to it.

dxdiag is your friend, that will give you a complete rundown of everything in or on your computer, and you can export it to a .txt for others to view as well.
