Hello, recently I donwloaded the NR2003 Editor program, the one with the season creater, ai editor, track editor, and backup utility. It worked on my old computer, but on my new windows 7 computer, everytime I click on "season editor", I get "Error 62" and then something about and input not being found. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Oh oh. Could be voodoo. :scared:

Seriously: no expert, but this is shaping up to be a real what dunnit. Sometimes an error 62 can be caused by shutting down your rig before it was finished. (& now it's looking to read info that isn't there.) Once had all my .psd files refuse to open unless they were dragged to the desktop.

Much as I would like to blame W7, I have seen this on XP Pro too. Never seems to be the same cause/fix. Have you tried restarting? Uninstall/reinstall? Did you move Editor (copy) or was it a fresh download to its present location? Can you work from your old rig (if you still have it), and bring files to your new rig?

There's likely a work around. Might be elusive. Error 62 can be quite frustrating to resolve.

Good luck. :)

I finished downloading it, and it was a fresh one. I'll see if I have it on my other computer.

I tried a fresh install, error, and I copied it from my other computer, and still got it. And it works on the other one.

Is your new computer a 64 bit machine and your old one a 32 bit?

That might be the reason. The program probably isn't compatible with 64 bit machines.

Really? Damn. Because I am running Win7 64 bit. Oh well. I guess I can create a schedule on one computer and then transfer it over I guess.

yeah if it purely won't work because the program is not made for 64 bit then that's the only option left I believe.

I have quite a few NR2003 tools that only work on a 32 bit machine so I keep my old computer handy when I need those programs. It's a huge inconvenience but it's better than having no NR2003 programs to work with lol

Installing it into the Programs (x86) folder should make a 32 bit program work. Also set the Account Center Settings to "Never" - start/programs/control panel/system security/action center/change user account control settings/drag the bar to "never" and hit ok. You will get a warning just ignore it.

I had this problem with NRatings and this was the way I fixed it.

Note, all systems are diffrent so this may or may not help. It worked on mine. I'm running Windows 7 Pro. 64 bit

I hope this helps.
